This category was created to highlight films without dialogue, where music, cinematography, and actor performances become the central elements in storytelling. The Ave-do-Paraíso (Bird-of-Paradise) symbolizes the unique beauty and complexity of these productions, which aim to create a deep sensory experience by harmonizing sound and image in an immersive way. With submissions open until April 30, the parallel showcase welcomes films from around the world. Productions of any musical genre are eligible, as long as they align with the symphonic film concept—meaning films without dialogue that use music as their primary narrative tool. This category is designed for filmmakers and creators who seek to explore the combination of soundtrack and visuals to tell compelling stories. While the parallel showcase accepts films of all musical genres, the main showcase is exclusively for rock music videos. Festival Categories: Official Selection: Rock, Camera, Action!
